Bubba, gone but not forgotten.

Lasting Paws, I have 6 cats 3 kitties and 3 adults and I lost Bubba a 4 month old male due to a freak accident last Saturday morning. I searched for a vet that has a good reputation found Palm Glen in Glendale and took my baby Bubba to get cremated. Hard enough taking him in but they took him from me right away as they knew I was coming and took me to a room to do papers. I left and just waited for the call to come bring Bubbas ashes home one last time. So fast, so professional and I can not thank you all enough. The technician with initials ST I hope God sends you my blessings. I thank you so much for being gentle with Bubba and I now just picked him up and he is home with my family and his brothers and sisters and mother. I’ve heard stories of cremations going wrong but the reviews from the vets and you all are so amazing I didn’t worry a bit. I knew Bubba was in good loving hands literally in your hands. You are there to make things a bit more tolerable

Thank you so much for all your compassion and for taking such good care of our dear departed pet. We have actually used your service for all of our pets that have gone to the Rainbow Bridge. When your heart hurts so badly and you can't even think straight, it is so nice to know that you are there to make things a bit more tolerable. Thank you for what you do.

Professional, understanding, and most of all, compassionate

We, the Espiritu Family, would like to say thank you so much for being professional, understanding, and most of all, compassionate of our feelings. Our loss of our beloved ‘Ruffy' was very hard for us to take. It was good to know that he was in good hands until the day we received his ashes. Once again we thank you all so much.

I want to thank you all for your kindness, respect, sympathy – and for taking care of 'Squirt' for me. I had him a little over 15 years, and it has been a very difficult time, especially with my husband dying in July. Your thoughtfulness has been mentioned many times by my daughter and me. The folks at Homeward Bound have cremated two of our beloved dogs after their passing. They were so kind and considerate. They answered endless questions, and were flexible and attentive to our unusual situation. I recommend these folks unconditionally! They are wonderful!

It is difficult to let go of a beloved pet

I have worked with Homeward Bound for almost five years. I have always been impressed in the compassion and respect they provide for our patients and clients. It is difficult to let go of a beloved pet and being able to assure owners that their loved one is being well cared for is a great comfort. The staff is very caring and professional

The loss of a loved companion is never easy and the ensuing grief makes it difficult to make decisions regarding the aftercare of a pet's remains. The doctors and staff at Clearview Animal Hospital, P.C. have chosen Homeward Bound as the only pet cremation service they use or recommend. Their mission statement states that "we care for your pets like they were our own" and I can attest to the truth of that statement knowing the owners on a personal basis for nearly forty years. Maggie Mae

I put my sweet, little Maggie Mae to sleep on Thursday March 1, 2018. The beginning of her life was as a barn cat, not fixed, having litter after litter of kittens. She brought them over to one of my clients house for safety. I took one of the kittens home. About 4 months later in a terrible spring snow storm, she went to my clients home wanting in. My client called me and asked if I wanted her. I said yes. That was in 2005. She loved me. She slept with me every night. She would put her paw on my lips and I would kiss them.
Over the past few days I was wondering what I would put her ashes in. I was worried it wouldn't be pretty enough for her. I have no idea why it bothered me so with her. First thing I did in the vets office was open the bag to see. I was overwhelmed. It was so her. A beautiful little box with craved flowers on the top.
It is so perfect.
