Today you left us for a better place, oh how we will all miss your smiling face. You helped us through a difficult time, and not once did you ever whine. A companion to Paula and a friend to me, we were so blessed you came to be. You always did what we asked you to do, and even though it was a pain, you loved Lincoln too. Our hearts are saddened now that you're gone, yet, because of you, our lives are richer with each new dawn. So many memories, too many to count, but you mutt, I will never forget the day you bit me in the butt. One day, you nearly blinded me in one eye, but I never thought today would be the day I’d say goodbye. Rest now oh gentle pup, and find a new calling to make ye yup. Although the crying will eventually stop, our love of you will never drop. Nothing more left to say, other than we enjoyed the play. Thank you old man for all the fun, and for being such a great son.
