Shadow L. Smith-Montano, 12 in human years, 69 in dog years passed away peacefully on Saturday (April 18, 2020) at her Colorado Springs home surrounded by family. She was born in Kansas and was owned by Alejandro “Cruz” Smith, Vanessa (Wray) Montano and Joseph "Joe" Montano. Shadow was the highlight of the family. She loved going on car rides, walking outside, being out at the family land, going hunting, swimming in the pond or lake, and being around other people in general she could show her love and compassion towards. She will be missed greatly by all that got licked by her and who got a big bear hug from her when you walked into the front door.
