Shadow

Shadow was my first Rescue. He was rescued from a kill shelter To a non kill shelter. The beginning was difficult. He wanted to be alone. As time passed he started to trust me. We were like two lost souls who found each other. I stopped eating at the kitchen table after the death of my husband. Shadow did not like to eat alone. I was back at the table and Shadow would stand sideways by his bowls to make sure I was still seated. He became my constant companion and protector. I hope he knows how much I loved him.
