2002 - 2019

When we first met over seventeen years ago, I had no idea how deeply you would enrich my life. They say it is special when a cat chooses you, and I now believe that to be true. You possessed a brave and independent spirit with the heart of an explorer. Your sweetness and playfulness touched us all. I loved watching as you playfully teased the dogs by enticing them to a chase and then leaping into a tree, giving the dogs a look of “ha ha, gotcha,” and play boxing followed by a snuggle with your feline brother, Moose. You gave joy to us all. You have been my faithful companion through the years, providing me with love and laughter. I only hope that I gave you all the love and respect you deserve. You will be dearly missed.

Of all God’s creatures, there is only one that cannot be made slave of the leash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve the man, but it would deteriorate the cat.
