Panther

2009 - 2021

Panther was a cuddler. He enjoyed belly rubs, a good head and chin scratch’s (he had hematoma son both ears so those got really touchy and he preferred to not have them touched), and suffocating me with his head butts. He loved dancing with me, and being walked around the apartment to smell the walls and new decorations. He had the sweetest little meow, and the biggest purr. At meal time, the extra gravy Friskies would have him begging me, and he’d even take over his sister’s (Miss Fig) plate of gravy. His catnip mice were his downfall. He will be the only ‘Sugar Butt’ and ‘Furry Britches’ that will fill my heart the way he did, and he knew it too.

Panther, I had no idea that the cuddles we had shared five minutes before you passed were going to be the last, but I never took them for granted. I don’t regret the millions of kisses I made you endure before I let you go, and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I love you, forever and beyond.
