Monty

Monty, was a rescue dog from Teller County, No-kill Shelter. I was looking for a small dog for my then 7 year old daughter Alyssa. One of my Co-Workers said that the shelter that his wife works at has some dachshunds, a brother and sister team. When I walked in to the shelter I had the mind set that I was walking out of there with the girl puppy, but as I sat on the floor with both puppies, Monty came up to me and just sat in my lap. I knew he was our dog. Over the years that we had Monty, he brought so much joy to our family's life. Monty might be gone but his joy and love will live on. RIP Monty 2005-2013
