Meeka
2016 - 2026
Our beloved Meeka was more than a cat—she was family, my constant companion, my comfort, and my best friend.
Meeka was a rescue, but from the very first moment we met, it was clear that she was the one rescuing me. The instant our eyes met, she jumped into my lap, laid her head against my chest, and stole my heart forever.
She had the sweetest soul and the biggest personality packed into a tiny body. She loved being close to me and would find any way possible to lay on me—my chest, my legs, my side, even my head if she thought she could get away with it. Her favorite place was always curled up against her mama, purring contentedly.
She was playful, smart, and full of life. She loved chasing the laser pointer and could turn into a kitten all over again whenever it appeared. She also knew exactly when dinner time was and made sure everyone else knew it too. Meeka ran her household with confidence and wasn't shy about reminding us of the schedule.
She was my shadow and my little guardian. Every time I left the house, I had to tell her where I was going and when I'd be back. And heaven help me if I was late. She expected her mama home on time and always made sure I knew it.
I miss her beautiful face, her oversized ears, her tiny meow, her gentle kisses, and her insistence on always being involved in whatever I was doing. I miss the way she filled every empty space in our home and in my heart.
For the last two years, Meeka fought harder than anyone could have asked her to. She faced liver disease with incredible strength, determination, and courage. Even when things were difficult, she never stopped being my sweet girl.
Liver disease may have taken my baby from me, but it can never take the love she left behind in my heart.
Meeka was deeply loved every single day of her life. She gave comfort during hard times, laughter during good times, and a kind of unconditional love that can never truly be replaced.
Though our time together was far too short, the bond we shared will last forever. She will always be my baby girl, and I will always be her mama.
Until we meet again, my sweet baby girl, wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge. One day I'll hold you in my arms again.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in my heart. Forever Mama's Sweet baby girl. I love you meeka Mayhem Sign Sign Kitty ❤️
