Understanding without any needed words,
We shared our love and worlds.
The hardest decision we’d have to make,
is lay you to rest so you’d never wake.

No longer pain or suffering will you bear,
But I will surely miss having you there.
I love you with a love that will never go,
and in my heart, you’ll only grow.

Equipoise, I’m sad to say our paths will part,
but just know you’re always in my heart.
Till I rejoin you wherever we may end,
I’m grateful for the time we got to spend.
