Charlie

2019 - 2026

If you knew Charlie, you probably also knew his signature look :😐. It was his go to expression for all things, and he relayed more in that look than most people can with words; we somehow always knew what he was trying to communicate. He was a bit of a grandpa and homebody, but he was extremely smart. We always joked that this was not Charlie’s first time on this planet, he was too smart for this to be his first time(Claire on the other hand is alllll dog; definitely her first go round). Charlie was diagnosed with renal cancer January of 2026. Despite undergoing a nephrectomy, the cancer spread rapidly to other organs. We had to say goodbye to Charlie, and while I’m extremely grateful for the 6 years I got to spend with him, 6 years was never enough. I am so glad he can breathe easy again. I just hope that wherever he lands in his next life, that he’s as loved there as he was in this one❤️
